The Intel Celeron G4900T is a Coffee Lake desktop processor with two cores, two threads, a 2.90 GHz clock and 2 MB cache, manufactured on a 14 nm process. It has no Turbo Boost or Hyper-Threading. Integrated UHD Graphics 610 supports Quick Sync Video. The rated TDP is 35 W, with a configurable 25 W mode. Intel lists its launch as Q2 2018 without an exact date.
Use cases: Suitable for file sharing, backups, downloads and light home NAS services with limited concurrency. Integrated graphics can provide hardware transcoding for supported media formats when enabled by the operating system, drivers and media software. The current real test was submitted from a Fujitsu Q558 running fnOS; it does not measure networking, storage or transcoding performance.
