Common dedup scenarios

Deduplication is one of the most common cleanup tasks: merging keyword lists, checking member or account lists, cleaning tag vocabularies, or removing duplicates from exported form data. The tool works line by line by default and keeps the first occurrence of every item, so the output order stays stable.

If your data is not line-based — for example a comma- or space-separated keyword string — switch to "By custom separator", enter the separator, deduplicate, and rejoin the unique items with newline, comma, space or any custom text to convert between separators.

"Ignore case" suits emails and usernames; "Trim whitespace" is on by default to strip stray spaces copied from spreadsheets. Everything is processed locally in your browser — nothing is uploaded.

How to use

  1. Paste the text to deduplicate into the box above (one item per line by default).
  2. Pick a mode, separator and options; the result updates live.
  3. Choose a join separator and click "Copy" to get the cleaned, rejoined result.

FAQ

Which duplicate is kept?

The first occurrence of each item is kept in its original position; later duplicates are removed, so the output order matches the input.

How do I dedup a comma-separated keyword list?

Choose "By custom separator", enter a comma as the split separator, then rejoin with commas — or switch to newlines for a clean list.

Are empty lines removed?

Yes. Empty or whitespace-only items are filtered out automatically and counted separately in the statistics.

Where can I see which items were duplicated?

Below the statistics you will find the top 10 most duplicated items with their occurrence counts.
