Frequently Asked Questions

What is network diagnostic?
Network diagnostic tools help you analyze network connectivity, latency, packet loss, and routing paths between your network and a target server. Common tools include Ping, TCP Ping, Traceroute, and MTR.
What is the difference between Ping and TCP Ping?
Standard Ping uses ICMP protocol, which may be blocked by some firewalls. TCP Ping establishes TCP connections to specific ports (e.g., 80, 443), which is more reliable for testing web server connectivity even when ICMP is blocked.
What does MTR show?
MTR combines Traceroute and Ping, continuously sending packets to each hop along the route. It shows packet loss rate, average latency, and jitter for each hop, helping identify which network segment is causing problems.
Is this tool free?
Yes, completely free. We provide distributed diagnostic nodes in multiple regions. Tests are executed on our nodes and results are returned in real-time.
