What are Unicode fancy fonts?
Fancy text is not a real font file — it uses the "Mathematical Alphanumeric Symbols" blocks reserved in the Unicode standard, which contain decorative glyphs matching the regular alphabet: script 𝓗𝓮𝓵𝓵𝓸, gothic 𝔉𝔯𝔞𝔨𝔱𝔲𝔯, double-struck 𝔻𝕠𝕦𝕓𝕝𝕖 and so on. Because they are standard characters rather than images, you can copy and paste them into WhatsApp, Instagram, Discord or any text field.
The tool offers 26 styles: script and handwriting for personal signatures, gothic for a colder look, neat double-struck and monospace, cute circled and squared letters, superscript, subscript and small caps for layout, strikethrough, underline and tilde overlays, plus upside-down text.
Note that a few older systems or screen readers may render some characters as boxes, and fancy text is not suitable for formal documents or passwords — it shines in nicknames, bios and decorative copy. Everything is converted locally in your browser; your input is never uploaded.

FAQ
Why do some characters show as boxes on certain phones?
Fancy characters live in the Unicode mathematical alphabet blocks and need font support. Mainstream systems (iOS, Android, Windows, macOS) render them fine; a few older devices or apps lack the glyphs and show boxes — just try another style.
Can I use them in WhatsApp, Instagram or game IDs?
Yes. These are standard Unicode characters, not images, so they paste into any text field. Some platforms restrict the character set allowed in nicknames — try a few styles if one is rejected.
Does it work with Chinese characters?
No. There are no decorative Unicode blocks for Chinese, so Chinese characters pass through unchanged. English, digits and pinyin work best.
Can other people search or copy my fancy nickname?
Yes — fancy text is still plain text underneath, so anyone can copy and reuse it. Don't treat it as copy protection.
