Will my content be lost?
No. The editor saves to your browser's localStorage every second, including content, language mode, layout preferences and font size. Reopening the tab or refreshing restores your last session. Note: clearing browser data will erase the saved content.
Which file formats are supported?
Uploads support common text formats such as .txt, .md, .html, .css, .js, .json, .php, .py and .sql, and the language mode is detected automatically. Downloads suggest a file extension based on the current mode.
How do I use find & replace?
Click the search button in the toolbar, or use Ctrl+F (find), Ctrl+H (replace) and Ctrl+Shift+F (replace all). Regular expressions are supported.
Does the Markdown preview scroll in sync?
Yes. As you scroll the editor, the preview scrolls proportionally, which makes long documents easier to review side by side.
Is my data safe?
Everything is stored only in your browser's local storage — no data is uploaded to any server. Editing, previewing and import/export all happen client-side.
